9 Apps your Students will love

Students love to use their own devices and phones in school.  Why not allow them to use their device to create classroom projects?  Listed below are 9 Apps that will get the students creating using their own devices in the blended learning classroom.  

Name: Skitch
Overview:  Allows the student to take a photo and mark on the picture.  
School Use:  Students take a picture of the science lab and indicate what is going on in the picture. 

Name: PicStitch
Overview:  Create a collage with the pictures on the devices. 
School Use: Social Studies, have them take pictures of the historical event.  Students create a collage and post it to the classroom twitter hashtag.  

Name: Stick Around
Overview: Play, design, and share sorting and labeling puzzles! Explore the pre-made puzzles.
School Use: Math, students can put the fractions in order, identify the longest, and shortest lengths, create their own math problems and share with friends.

Overview:  Create a talking image from any picture. Draw a line and record your voice to make the image talk. 
School Use: Art Class, after the students are done creating a piece of art, snap a picture, create a line, and record the students talking about their masterpiece. 

Name: Postino
Overview:  Create a postcard and share it out with friends and family.  
School Use: Reading and Writing: While the students are reading their books, have them create a post card about the events, character, setting, or predictions using the Postino App.  

Name: OSnap!
Overview:  Create a video using time lapsed videos.

Overview: A mobile art studio that will allow artist to create masterpieces on the go.  Great for all ages. 
School Use:  Art, Allow the students to create digital images using markers, paintbrushes, crayons, or colored pencils.

Name: Croak.it!
Overview: Share out what you hear or say with the internet. 
School Use: Poetry, allow the students to use the Croak.it to share out poems or sounds that inspire them to create their next Haiku poem.
