Promoting Creativity and Critical Thinking within the BLENDED LEARNING Classroom

Teachers are always asking for creativity apps instead of just games that students play while working on the computer or the iPad.  Over the years, I have shared out all kinds of project based programs that the students can use while working with technology.  Some of my favorite include Prezi, Thinglink, PowToons, and TimeToast.  However, those websites require a password, email address, and take some students extra time to just figure out the program.  When faced with those roadblocks, I turn the teachers to ReadWriteThink.

Why I like ReadWriteThink

• No Password Required
• Self directed program 
• Easy to use during blended learning rotations
• Projects can be printed and/or shared online

What I don't like about ReadWriteThink

• Students can not save and edit their work.  They can save the product but can not go back in and make corrections or add to the content. 
• This is a one and done website program, meaning that you get one shot to create your masterpiece
