In a blended learning classroom there is never really any down time.  As a blended learning coach, I help teacher to generate choice and voice within the classroom.  When a student finished a project early and is waiting for the timer to go off to move to the next station, I have the teacher generate Choice Boards.  

• Choice Boards allow students to express themselves through different modalities.  
• Choice Boards can last for a whole unit
• Choice Boards can replace formative and summative assessments 
• Choice Boards are all over the internet and Pinterest.  Search "Choice Boards 8th grade math PDF" to download pre-made choice boards.  

Choice Board Directions:  

1. If you finish early with any station, start working on the Choice Board
2. Pick three squares on the paper.  Note, the squares that you pick have to connect.  Just like a tic-tac-toe board
3. Start working on your choice board activities
